RNA-Seq analysis of mycorrhizal and non-mycorrhizal roots of Lotus japonicus
Transcriptomic changes due to mycorrhization with Rhizophagus clarus strain HR1 in Lotus japonicus roots were investigated to reveal the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying.

identify L. japonicus genes involved in inhibition of nodulation in shoots
We performed RNA-seq analysis of shoot samples during symbiotic interaction between Lotus japonicus and Mesorhizobium loti. In order to identify L. japonicus genes involved in inhibition of nodulation in shoots, we constructed respective cDNA libraries from shoots of wild-type L. japonicus (MG-20), har1 mutants, CLE-RS1 constitutive expression lines and CLE-RS2 constitutive expression lines.

Transcriptional changes during arbuscular mycorrhiza
In order to isolate AM induced genes in Lotus japonicus, we performed transcriptome analysis in AM infected root by RNA-seq. The host root infected with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (Rhizophagus irregularis) showed drastic change of the transcriptional profiles and give important information to know the gene regulation mechanisms.

Lotus japonicus raw sequence reads of root and shoot samples
Raw sequence reads of water- or Mesorhizobium loti-treated Lotus japonicus ecotype Gifu B129, separated into root and shoot tissues. The project aims to dissect differential gene expression and RNA species enrichment among L. japonicus organs under various inoculation conditions.

Endoreduplication-mediated initiation of symbiotic organ development in Lotus japonicus
We performed RNA-seq analysis during symbiotic interaction between Lotus japonicus and Mesorhizobium loti using Hiseq2000. In order to identify L. japonicus and M. loti genes involved in the early stage of legume-rhizobium symbiosis, we constructed respective cDNA libraries from infected whorl roots of wild-type L. japonicus plants (MG-20) and vagrant infection thread 1 (vag1) mutants (Suzaki et al. Development, 2014)
