Description

Basic leucine-zipper (bZIP) transcription factor are ubiquitously present in all eukaryotic system. Based on protein sequence homology with yeast and animal bZIP transcription factors, bioinformatics studies have identified their main structural domains (proline-rich, basic and leucine-zipper). This group of TF specifically binds to G-box 5??CACGTG??3 .
