Description

LIS1 contains seven WD repeats in its C-terminal region and a distinct N-terminal region of 95 residues. This region was designated a LisH domain (LIS1 homology domain, residues 8-37) and a coiled-coil domain (residues 51?C79). Over one hundred eukaryotic proteins were found to contain the LisH motif.
