  JmjN
Family Type Transcription factor & chromatin remodeling
Plant Specific No
Functional Domains DNA binding domain
Must-have InterProScan Domain Pattern IPR003349
Prohibited InterProScan Domain Pattern IPR001606 IPR009071
Description

In many diverse species including bacteria, fungi, plants, and animals, contains jumanji protein family. Although the biochemical activities of JmjN proteins are yet to be shown, but they are usually associated with chromatin remodeler. In Arabidopsis mutantion in jmj group of proteins leads to Flowering Time defects in Arabidopsis.
