Description |
A 110 amino acid containing domain is called B3 DNA binding. Depending on the presence of other domains or multiple B3 DNA binding domains in a protein it has been sub divided into four families: LAV, RAV, ARF and REM. Where, LAV family contains ABI3VP1 proteins. LAV family consists of two subgroups: the LEC2?CABI3 subgroup and the VAL subgroup. VAL sub groups contain protein associated with additional chromatin remodeler type domains. This entry contains LEC2?CABI3 subgroup and REM sub group. Due to the absence of any other signature domains it is not possible to designate this two sub family separately.
